I’m a development executive and podcast producer, with a decade of experience. My work has been heard on public radio stations around the country, and through millions of podcast downloads worldwide.
Most recently, I’ve been Executive Producer and head of new show development for Midroll Media (one of Fast Company's "Most Innovative" Companies, 2016) and Earwolf, where I developed and launched numerous podcasts including: breakout hit and iTunes #1 show Beautiful Stories from Anonymous People, popular recap show Bitch Sesh and iTunes ‘Best of’ picks Katie Couric and The Black List Table Reads. I also served as lead producer for Howl (now Stitcher Premium), and commissioned, edited or onboarded many of the premium app’s initial slate of documentaries, narrative storytelling and audio fiction, including Issa Rae’s Fruit.
Previously, I was a producer for the popular Freakonomics Radio podcast and WNYC’s music show Soundcheck, where I created the Tough Critics video series. My radio documentaries and feature stories have aired on public radio programs including Studio 360, The Story, Word of Mouth and Re:Sound.
I teach radio/podcast production to graduate students in the Cultural Reporting and Criticism program at NYU. I’m also a cellist and a former member of the band Cursive.
My new podcast production company will open in April 2017. (Hot Pod coverage here). We will do work that brings people together, drives the cultural conversation and inspires creativity. Want to work together? Get in touch.
